Working With PUL
* Always use quality threads such as Gutermann, these can be found at most sewing shops. Cheap threads will often cause your machine to skip stitches and will create a lot of lint in the bobbin holder.
* It’s a good idea to only use quality needles in your machine no bigger than a 75. Bigger needle create bigger holes which may lead to leaking.
* I find it good to use a template and draw the pattern on the wrong side of the fabric. To do this use a “Frixion” brand pen. These can be purchased in the stationary department of most grocery stores. They are heat erasable. So if you make a mistake marking the fabric you hold a steam iron over the pen marks and they disappear.
